Funeral Services for Alma Mae King (83)), retired dietician of Mer Rouge, will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Eudora Missionary Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Cedric Crossley will officiate the services. The interment will follow the services in the Cherry Hill #2 cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. King will be held on Friday evening, February 24, from 4 – 6 in the chapel of Loche’s Mortuary.. Loche’s Mortuary, Inc. is in charge of the services. Sis. Alma Mae King was born on May 14, 1933 to the late Gertrude Anderson and the late Wilbert Davenport. She was the wife of the late Earl King, Jr.
She was a retired dietician working for many years at Oak Woods Nursing Home.
She loved traveling but she especially enjoyed cooking, raising children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Sis. King ENJOYED LIFE and all the joys that it brought.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Larry Davenport, Jamil King, Shawndolyne King, Sytirathia King, ShaDonna King, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
