Funeral Services for Edith Norman Tucker-Robinson will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018. Mrs. Tucker-Robinson's services will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the Ivory Chapel Baptist Church, 1655 Martin L King South. .Rev. Willie Bershell will be the officiant. The Interment will follow the service in the Veterans Cemetery in Rayville. LA.
Edith was born to Mrs. Naomi Norman and the late Willie Norman on December 10, 1969. She was a member of Bastrop High School's class of 1987. She also attended the Vocational Technical School in 1988. Edith served her country with pride as a Specialist in the United States Army during Operation Desert Storm. She was employed at the Wal-Mart Pharmacy. A real people person, Edith was an avid talker. She never "met a stranger."
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Vincent Robinson, three children: Amber Tucker of Tacoma, WA;, Richard Tucker of Shreveport, LA, and, Lindsay Robinson pf Bastrop; her mother, Mrs. Naomi Norman and two brothers: Norwood Wimberly and Maurice Nornan all of Basttop, LA, six sisters: Pamela Jefferson, New Llans. LA, Felicia Bershell, Paulette Jackson, Sarah Fudge, and Kimberly Willis all of Bastrop, LA, Jacqueline Williaams, Springfield. MA, and Michelle Norman, Lafayette, LA, and a host of other relatives and friends.
