Funeral services for Deacon George Willie Thomas, Sr., truck driver, accomplished musician, and soloist,  will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Springhill Baptist Church.  Rev. Nathan Lloyd is the officiating minister. Interment will follow the services in the Springhill Cemetery. Visitation for Deacon Thomas will be held at the Springhill Baptist Church on Friday evening, March 31, 2017 from 6 - 8 p.m.

His hobbies included singing, playing the guitar, just chillin' and "resting my eyes."
