Caroll Amber Morrison

 Funeral services for  Mr. Caroll Morrison will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the Cherry Hill #1 Missionary Church, 11674 Johnson School Road in Mer Rouge, Louisiana.  Rev. Bernard Jones will serve as the officiant.  The Interment will follow in Jerusalem Cemetery on the Mer Rouge-Oak Ridge Highway.  Visitation for Mr. Morrison will be held from five-thirty p.m. to seven p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2023, in the chapel of Loche's Mortuary, Inc. “They Called Him Puddin’ ”

April 3, 1956 fell on a Tuesday in Mer Rouge, Louisiana. Just another ordinary day for some, but for Magnolia Morrison and Lewis Mitchell it was the day that Caroll Amber Morrison made his advent into the world. On April 4, 2023, some sixty-seven years and one day later Caroll Amber Morrison went home to be with God.

Now, some wonder why his nickname was "Puddin?"  Well, his Aunt Cammie made some of the best banana pudding in Mer Rouge.  Whenever he  would go to visit her, his eyes would light up when he saw she had made a banana pudding. And, so she gave him the name "Puddin" because of HIS love for HER banana pudding. 

He is survived by his wife; Anita White Morrison, his children: Carlos Harper, Antwine Harper, Linette H. Curry, Corie Harper, and Caroll Evans; six sisters: Jennifer Moore, Mary Ann Stokes, Barbara Davis, Diane Mitchell, Minnie Ivy Cook (William), and Brandon Clark. He is also survived by a special family of loving people, the Stewart Family.
