Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Jeanett McClinton will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the Greater Magnolia Missionary Baptist Church on Cypress Street, Rev. Mozell Smith, Jr.,Pastor. Rev. Deon Robertson will be the officiating minister. The interment will follow the services in the St. Joe A. M. E. Cemetery in Bonita, LA. She was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Ora Lee Robertson, she was the wife of the late John McClinton. One daughter, Pamela Madison and one brother, Kenneth Robertson preceded her in death. She attended Bonita Rosenwald Elementary School and Union High School. A retired postal worker, she enjoyed bowling, cooking, reading and spending quality time with her family. She leaves to cherish her memories her sons: Keith Madison and Dwayne Madison; five grandchildren: Kristin Madison, Jordyn Aiken, Elijah Hockensmith, Raeyne Madison, and Dwayne Madison, Jr., four sisters, Helen Blackwell and Erie Cobb of Bastrop, LA, Deborah Hazard of Kentucky, and Phyllis Wooten of Bastrop, three brothers: James Polk and Timothy Robertson, of California, and Larry Robinson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. McClinton will lie in repose one hour prior to the beginning of the service.
