"A Real Dallas Cowboys' Fan"
November 19, 1968 was a Tuesday. It was the 324th day of the year, 1968. It was the week before Thanksgiving. Ivory Mae Davis and Columbus Brown welcomed a baby boy into this world. He was given the name Christopher Donnell Davis.
Now, Christopher was a fun-loving guy. He loved people and never met a stranger. Everyone knew he was a "Mama's Boy," and his love for his family knew no bounds. Chris was especially fond of his nieces, and delighted in playing games with them. A loving and jovial person, he always had a joke to tell. He would laugh harder at his own jokes than the people listening to his account of an especially funny situation.
Chris had quite a few hobbies, but he loved the Dallas Cowboys. He considered them "America's Team." He knew statistics, the names of former and present players, coaches, and when and where they were playing. To say he was a Cowboys' fan through and through was an understatement,
On August 25, 2024, Christopher Donnell Davis went home to be with God.
Amen! Amen!
