They Called Her "Dot"
On March 28, 1956, Lillie Mae Brandon and Clafford Hubbard were blessed with a girl child. They named her Dorothy, but she was fondly called "Dot."
Dot attended Delta High. She loved puzzles and she delighted in making her family happy, especially the love of her life, Carl Randle.
She and Carl were blessed with five children: Alex, Demetrius, Letesha, Fredrick, and Addaryl. She delighted in spoiling her eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She loved her Hickory Manor, Sterlington Rehab, and Slayden's Barbecue families, and was loved by them in return. Tootsie Rolls and Nestle's Crunch were her favorite types of candy.
Dorothy Walker "Dot," never met a stranger. Her love for people endeared her to her co-workers and her community. She will forever be remembered as "the lady with the beautiful smile."
