Graveside Services for  Eddie Lee Scott, a well-known resident, fondly known as "Johnny Cash" will be held on Wednesday morning, March 17, 2021, at 11:00 a. m. in the H. V. Adams Cemetery. Rev. Michaelangelo Watkins will be the officiant of the services.  A lifelong resident of Bastrop, Mr. Scott succumbed on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at the Legacy Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Tallulah, Louisiana. He enjoyed meeting and making friends, walking, and wearing expensive clothes.
