“A Loving Mother”
Archie and Agnes Williams were blessed with a girl child on March 11, 1933, in the small Louisiana hamlet of Alto. She was given the name Esther.
When she became an adult, Esther met and married Gilbert Jackson, Jr. “Mama Easter”(that’s what she was lovingly called) loved her God and her family. She was always happy to prepare a meal for ANYONE. She loved to read her Bible and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved fishing growing plants, and definitely cooking.
Esther was employed at Cherry Ridge Nursing home for thirty-three years. On any given day, she could be found talking to and laughing with the residents.
On April 22, 2025, Esther Williams Jackson went home to be with her God. Her loving spirit, good cooking, and infectious laughter will be missed by those whose lives she touched.
Rest Well Mama! We Love You!
