Winston, Jr. will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Greater First Church of God in Christ at eleven a.m. Pastor Charles Atlas is the officiating minister. Johnny E. Winston, Jr. was born on Friday, March 2, 1956, to the late Alicine Chandler Winston and Deacon Johnny E. Winston, Sr., in the small hamlet of Mer Rouge, LA.  Johnny was a proud member of Delta High School's Class of 1974.  He was honorably discharged after serving a tour of duty in the United States Army.  He prided himself with his entrepreneurial spirit in advertising and insurance.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings.  He leaves to cherish his memory two sisters, Easter Hill and Sharron Jackson, their spouses, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
