"They Called Her Tee"
On Friday, April 14, 1989, De Janill and Willie Smith were blessed with a girl child. She was given the name LaTeanna Lee Dokes. On Thursday, May 19,2024, God called LaTeanna home. "Tee" as she was called by family and friends alike. was a graduate of Hazelwood Central High School in St. Louis, Missouri. She went on to further her education at the University of Phoenix. Tee was an enterprising young lady. She was self-employed, designing and selling beautiful pieces of jewelry.
She was very family oriented and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. They considered her a comedian because she brought joy and laughter to all she met. Tee was an amazing singer; She loved to make and create music. She delighted in making memories with her siblings: Kaytra Dokes, Truly Fuller, Taneisha McHenry, Marcus Smith, and Willie Smith; her nephew/son, Ja'Kyren, two nieces, A'Myiah and Makynli. She especially enjoyed spending quality time with her special friends: Courtney Bryant, Courtney Martin, and Jontoriano Robinson.
"As you were, you will always be,
Treasured forever in our memory!
We keep in our hearts the love of the past,
For there it was planted forever to last.
Your presence we miss,
Your memory we treasure,
Loving you always,
Forgetting you NEVER."
Rest In Love, Tee!
