Life's Reflections

Lee Earlis Mays was born to the union of Richmond and Muriel Davis Mays on June 4, 1962.  Lee answered his Master's call on July 26, 2020, and joined his parents, one brother, Gregory Charles Mays,  and a niece, Tanganyika Mays in his Heavenly Home.

Lee grew up in Bastrop, attended the St. Mary C. M. E. Church with his family. After graduating from  Bastrop High School in 1980, Lee joined the Army and was stationed in Germany for two years.

He returned home after his stint in the Army and did yard work for people in the community.  He took pride in his work and really enjoyed it.

He leaves to cherish his memory: four sisters: Glenda Mays Jenkins (Ray Dean), Janice Mays Jones (Randy), Vivian Mays Brown (Don), and Lesa Quade of Flint, Michigan; three brothers: Richmond Mays Jr., Roy Stokes, and Anthony Mays (Rashni); two sons, Ladarrius Tyron White and Kilwa Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" 2 Timothy 4:7
