A Life Well-Lived
On November 13, 1930, Dennis Lowe and Pairlee Simpson were blessed with their first of eight children. She was given the name Lonnie Mae. Just a few days ago, Lonnie Mae Lowe Jackson shed her earthly raiments, caught a cloud, and stepped from mortality to immortality. Preceding her journey were her parents and five siblings, two sons, and one grandson.
In 1953, Ms. Lonnie Mae Lowe became the bride of a gentleman named Wilmer (Buddy) Jackson. Four children were born to this union: Augustine, Pamela, Christa, and Grady.
She was a faithful member of the St. Mary CME Temple, Faith Chapter #197, and served on a Star Point as Ruth chaplain and an Eastern Star member. When her health failed she moved to Houston, Texas with her daughter, Augustine, and attended the Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church.
