Graveside Services honoring the life and legacy of Mrs. Lue Ellen Talton Richard will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 in Longfield Cemetery in Spencer, Louisiana. The 11:00 a.m. service will be officiated by Rev. Lue Ellen Talton was born to the union of Willis and Alma Talton in Spencer, Louisiana She attended Union Training School.  She was married to the late Rubin Richard, who preceded her in death. 

They were the parents of three children :Alice, Perry and Larry...

Now, Lue's  favorite hobby was fishing.. To sit and watch the water ripple quietly, and the cork bubble up and down until it disappeared brought her a great deal of satisfaction and peace. When she tugged on the disappearing cork and came up with a white perch, bream,, catfish, or gar; why that would be the the icing on the cake.  

Another favorite past  time was telling stories. , People loved to sit near her as she weaved stories with a smile that warmed your heart.  Usually, they were stories of times gone by and she shared these memories with anyone who'd listen.

On Thursday, March 18, 2021, at the Ouachita Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center,  God called Lue Ellen Talton Richard from this earth to her Heavenly  Home. She leaves to miss her guidance, warm smile, and her loving heart, three grateful children: Alice Richard Simmons, Perry Lee and Larry Richard, and many relatives and friends..
