The Visitation honoring the life of Martha Lee Hobbs will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2022, from one to four p.m.  in the chapel of Loche's Mortuary. The Committal will be held at Red Hill Cemetery on December 5  2022, at 10:30 a.m. Friends and relatives are encouraged to practice social distancing and masking. "A Virtuous Woman"

                             On April 7, 1931, Sam Harris and O. T. Sanders were blessed with a girl child in Mer Rouge, LA.  She was given the name Martha Lee.  On November 28, 2022, in the Oakwoods Home for the Elderly, Martha joined loved ones who had gone on before.  She attended the public schools of Morehouse Parish.  She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, dancing, reading the  Bible and sharing words of  spiritual wisdom with all she met.  A loving and caring lady, she never met a stranger.  Her big smile was infectious.  That special smile and her poem reading will be greatly missed.  Martha Lee Hobbs was the epitome of  a Virtuous Woman.
