The Celebration of Life honoring Maxine Townes- Brown, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, friend, and well-known community member will be held on Saturday,  April 26, 2025, at New Jerusalem #2 Missionary Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. The interment will follow the service in H.           On Monday evening, April 14, 2025, Maxine Townes-Brown answered her Master’s call, and went home to be with God and loved ones. "She was only 27." She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, her children, her grandchildren, her siblings, aunts, cousins, friends, and a community who will forever be grateful that they knew and loved a woman named Maxine. SHE TOUCHED LIVES.
