Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Tappin Barfield, well known local resident and seamstress, will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the Salem #2 Baptist Church in Collinston, Louisiana. Rev. Raymond Gill will be the officiant of the services. The interment will follow the services in the Trousdale Cemetery in Collinston. Fondly called "Boo," by family and friends alike, she enjoyed sewing and spending quality time with her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory: Catherine Barfield, Norma Jean Barfield Norman, Jimmy C Barfield, Joyce Barfield, Bruce Barfield,  and Laurie Barfield.
