The Visitation  and Memorial Service honoring the life and legacy of Robin Johnston will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023,  from six to seven p.m. at New Life Church, 10091 Peach Orchard Road.  To send flowers, plants, condolences, or light a memorial candle, kindly follow directions to the left.   

On August 10, 2023, Robin shed her earthly raiments, donned her Heavenly garment, caught a cloud to Glory, and joined her loved ones who had gone on before.  She was preceded in death by her father, Donald W. Shores and her grandson, William J. Hickman, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory: mother, Bettie Shores of Bastrop, LA; daughter, Tosha Critchlow-Cochrane and husband, Shane of Hesperia, CA, three grandchildren: Blake, Brody and Baxter Cochrane; two sons: Billy Joe Hickman and wife, Krystal of Bastrop, LA, one grandchild: Seth Hickman; and David Hickman, Sr. and wife Kardina of Sterlington, LA, three grandchildren: Sway  Elejarde, Kirrah-Mae Hickman and David Hickman, Jr., brother: Allen Shores of Bastrop, LA,  sister: Donna Rickard and  husband , Darin of Palm Coast, FL, and brother, Ray Shores and wife, Aliciah, of Bastrop, LA.
