Rosa Loche Wooten

A "Quiet Hour and Viewing" honoring the life and legacy of Rosa Loche Wooten, the daughter of the late John and Lucy Loche of Collinston, LA will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 at the Fouche's Hudson Funeral Home  in Oakland, CA.

The second of five children, Rosa attended Morehouse High School.  Three siblings: Emma, Lee Raymond, and John preceded her in death  

In 1946, Rosa married John Lewis Wooten and two daughters were born to this union: Fanee Virginia and Deborah Fayette.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, one sister, Thelma Loche Caldwell of Bastrop, LA, many Louisiana nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
