Graveside services for Sharon W. King, dedicated C & A, and well-known resident will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 at the H. V. Adams Cemetery at 10:30 a.m.  Rev. Dustin Townsend of the East Haven Church of Christ will officiate the services. Ms. King passed away on May 18, 2020.

She was born Sharon King on March 31, 1968 to James Fields and Emma Winston.  As a child she has always believed in helping others, so it was only natural that she would go into the healthcare field.  She went on to become a certified  C& A and worked for many years caring for her patients.

However, her first loves were her nine grandchildren. No matter how tired she was after a long day at work, just the presence of one or two of her babies would give her the energy that she needed.  If you wanted to see her smile, leave them with Sharon for a while. She would cook for them, play games with them, and spoil them as only a grandmother could do.  

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Henry D. King, Sr., three grateful children, Earl Wilson, Shatangela Wilson, and Henry King, Jr., nine loving grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Our mother, our friend so dear. Throughout our lives you were always near. A tender smile to guide our way. You were the sunshine to light our day.
