Funeral services for Sherman D. Fudge will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Loches Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Essie D. Evans will serve as the officiating minister. The interment will follow the services in Beekman Cemetery. To send flowers, light a candle, or extend words of condolence, kindly follow the directions to the left.

"A Man Called Sherman"
He was born on a Thursday in Bastrop, Louisiana. The date was October 9, 1952 when Gladys Fudge and A. C. Jackson were blessed with a baby boy. They named him Sherman.
Sherman accepted Christ at an early age. He united with the St. John Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. H. P. Jenkins. He graduated from Bastrop High School in 1970. He went on to get a job at Georgia Pacific Corporation in Crossett, Arkansas. He worked for ten years, and also did other jobs.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Gladys Fudge, his brother, Joe Fudge, and his uncle, Ray Fudge. Sherman will be missed by family and friends who knew him well.
