Her Life
Even though I walk through the darkest valley,I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
It was a Monday, January 2, 1961, when Vester Faye Hatfield and Lloyd Tanzie were blessed with a girl child. She was given the name Sytira Annett; but she was fondly called "Ty." After battling health issues for two years, on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Clearview Regional Medical Center in Webster, Texas, "Ty" left her earthly home for her heavenly home.
A proud 1978 graduate of Delta High School, she decided to attend Northeast Louisiana State University where she received her undergraduate degree and her Master's degree in Physical Education.
