Funeral services for Vera Louise Williams will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the Greater New Hope Church of God in Christ on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Rev.Theodis Logan, Jr. will serve as the officiant of the services.  The Interment  will follow the services in H. V. Adams Cemetery.  Visitation for Mrs. Williams will be held on Friday evening, March 17, 2023, from four until six in the chapel of Loche's Mortuary. Friday, April 15, 1949, was a special day in Alameda, California.  It was on this day that Tom Johnson and Elizabeth Stokes were blessed with a girl child. She was given the name Vera Louise.

On Wednesday, March 8, 2023, Vera joined those loved ones who had gone on before.  She leaves to cherish her memory, six brothers: Tom Johnson, Larry Johnson, Charles Williams, Ricky Williams, Clarence Jonson,, and Leonard Johnson; five sisters: Linda Johnson, Diane Caldwell, Veronica  Johnson, Beverly White, and Virginia Sampson, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
