William "Bill" Miller
On Thursday, January 15, 1942, Willie and Georgia Scott Miller were blessed with a boy child who would eventually become a musical virtuoso. To this child was given the name William. Little did they know that this child would grow up and touch the lives of thousands of children with his love for and the beauty of music.
William attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He later changed to Lincoln University where he graduated. After graduation, he was employed and began touching lives. He gave many young people the desire to express their feelings through music. His favorite was the clarinet. He would spend hours with young people and often older ones as well at Eula D. Britton High School in Rayville, Louisiana.
On April 19, 2021, Bill heeded the call of the Master Musician and joined friends and loved ones who had gone on before.
"He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him."
