Darron Edward McDaniel (Creamy)
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
On a crisp October day, the 6th to be exact in 1965, Eva and Willie McDaniel were blessed with a boy child. To this child was given the name Darron Edward. On Monday, February 27, Darron stepped from mortality to immortality and joined loved ones who had gone on before him. Preceding him in death was his mother, Eva McDaniel.
Darron was a member of the Bastrop High School's distinguished class of 1984. He was loved by his teachers, classmates and friends because of his kind demeanor and caring smile. His genuine love for people was evident to anyone who met him for he never met a stranger.
He was an active member of the Mt. Zion Church of God in Christ. He served as one of Mt. Zion COGIC's "Men of Distinction".
Darren loved basketball and football. He loved music, watching movies, and walking. But, his greatest joy was spending time with his family. Because of his love for family, his favorite destination when traveling was Denver, Colorado where many family members reside.
Darron leaves to cherish his memory, his warm smile, and his never ending love for family: his father, Willie McDaniel of Bastrop, LA; his siblings: Sharon McDaniel Jarvis (Chris), Frisco, Tx, Terry McDaniel (Stephanie), Prosper, TX, Latisha McDaniel, Iowa City, IA, and DeShenik McDaniel, Frisco, TX, his nephews: Devin McDaniel (Abi), Plano TX, Treyvonne McDaniel, Conway, AR, Undra Stanley (Jessica), Conway, AR and Tracy Harris of Prosper, TX, his grandmother, Lurlean Anderson of Denver, Co, his uncles, aunts, and many many cousins and friends who will long remember "Creamy."
